COSMOS Artist-in-Residence
Karel Nel is the COSMOS artist-in-residence. He has participated in COSMOS team meetings since the creation of the team. The discussions of physics, mathematics and the exploration of the Universe has provided inspiration for a number of his collections.

At the 2015 COSMOS team meeting in Helsinki, organisers arranged for one of Karel's pieces to be shipped to Helsinki from London. Here is a photo of Karel (on the right) with his artwork 'The Collapse of Time' and some COSMOS astronomers:
